Many thanks to our LWVCKC dedicated League members, the Gail Borden Library, our sister League of Women Voters of Elgin Area, the AAUW Elgin Area Branch, our distinguished speakers, Sara Dady, Fred Tsao, and State's Attorney Jamie Moser, and perhaps most importantly, the members of the local community who recognized the importance of this topic and came out to be part of the discussion on Tuesday, August 26th (2025).

If you are concerned with the erosion of due process and other immigrant rights, we urge you to stay alert, engaged, and involved.
